സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ച് (അഥവാ വിസാ പോസിഷൻ അमेंഡ്‌മെന്റ്) എന്നത് ഒരു വ്യക്തി യുഎഇയിലുളളപ്പോൾ — വിസിറ്റ് വിസ, ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് വിസ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ക്യാൻസൽ ചെയ്ത റെസിഡൻസ് വിസ എന്നിവയിൽ ആകുമ്പോൾ — പുതിയ എംപ്ലോയ്മെന്റ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ റെസിഡൻസ് വിസ ലഭിക്കുമ്പോൾ രാജ്യത്തുനിന്ന് പുറത്ത് പോകാതെ ഫയൽ മാറ്റുന്നതിനുള്ള നടപടിക്രമമാണ്.

ഈ പ്രക്രിയയിലൂടെ അപേക്ഷകന്റെ ഇമിഗ്രേഷൻ ഫയൽ പഴയ സ്പോൺസറിൽ നിന്ന് പുതിയ സ്പോൺസറിലേക്ക് മാറും.

💼 1. സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ച് ടു എംപ്ലോയ്മെന്റ് വിസ

താഴെപ്പറയുന്ന സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിലുളളവർക്ക് സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ച് ആവശ്യമുണ്ട്:

• ഇപ്പോൾ വിജിറ്റ് / ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് വിസയിൽ ഉള്ളവർ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ

• ക്യാൻസൽ ചെയ്ത റെസിഡൻസ് വിസയുടെ ഗ്രേസ് പീരിയഡിനുള്ളിൽ ഉള്ളവർ

✅ നടപടിക്രമം

1. പുതിയ എംപ്ലോയ്മെന്റ് വിസ അപേക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ:

   • വിസ രാജ്യത്തിനുള്ളിൽ തന്നെ ലഭിക്കാനായി AED 680 അധികമായി അടയ്‌ക്കണം.

   • ഇത് AMER Centre-ൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഓൺലൈനായി അടയ്‌ക്കാം.

2. വിസ ലഭിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം:

   • സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ച് അപേക്ഷയ്ക്കായി AED 678 AMER Centre ൽ അടയ്‌ക്കണം.

   • അപേക്ഷ AMER സെന്ററിൽ ലഭ്യമാണ്.

   • ആവശ്യമായ രേഖകൾ:

     • വിസ ഹോൾഡറുടെ പാസ്‌പോർട്ട് കോപ്പി

     • പുതിയ വിസയുടെ കോപ്പി

     • സ്‌പോൺസറുടെ വിസ, പാസ്പോർട്ട് & എമിറേറ്റ്സ് ഐഡി കോപ്പി

3. കാലാവധി കഴിയുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് പൂർത്തിയാക്കണം:

   • വിസിറ്റ്/ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് വിസയിലാണെങ്കിൽ അതിൻറെ കാലാവധി / ക്യാൻസൽ ചെയ്‌ത വിസയാണെങ്കിൽ അതിൻറെ ഗ്രേസ് പീരീഡ്‌ (29 ദിവസം) കഴിയുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ച് നിർബന്ധം.

   • സ്റ്റാറ്റസ്സ് ചേഞ്ചിനു ശേഷമാണ് അപേക്ഷകന്റെ ഫയൽ പുതിയ സ്പോൺസറിലേയ്ക്ക് മാറ്റപ്പെടുക.

⚠️ പിഴ (Fine)

• AED 50 പ്രതിദിനം വൈകിയാൽ പിഴ അടയ്‌ക്കണം + AED 154 ദിർഹം സർവീസ് ചാർജ് (ICP Site മുഖേന പിഴ അടച്ച് സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചെയ്ഞ്ച്  ചെയ്യൂമ്പോൾ). AMER Centre വഴി GDRFA Site ലൂടെ പിഴ അടക്കുമ്പോൾ പ്രതിദിനം AED 50 മാത്രം അടച്ചാൽ മതി. മുകളിൽ കൊടുത്ത അധിക സർവീസ് ചാർജ് ആവശ്യമില്ല.

• പിഴ സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ച് സമയത്ത് അടയ്‌ക്കണം.

• വിസ അപേക്ഷകൻ ടൂറിസ്റ്റ്/വിസിറ്റ് വിസയിലാവുകയും ഓവർ സ്റ്റേ ഫൈൻ ഉണ്ടാവുകയും ചെയ്‌താൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ ഓവർ സ്റ്റേ ഫൈൻ അടച്ച് ഫയൽ ക്ലിയർ ചെയ്താൽ മാത്രമേ Employment Visa പാസ്സാവുകയുള്ളൂ. അത്തരം സന്ദർഭങ്ങളിൽ, ICP Site മുഖേന മാത്രമേ ഫൈൻ അടക്കാൻ കഴിയൂ.

• മെഡിക്കൽ പരിശോധന സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ചിന് ശേഷം മാത്രമേ നടത്താനാവൂ.

👨‍👩‍👧 2. സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ച് ടു റെസിഡൻസ് വിസ (ഫാമിലി സ്പോൺസർഷിപ്പ്)

വിജിറ്റ്/ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് വിസയിൽ നിന്നോ മുൻ വിസ ക്യാൻസൽ ചെയ്തതിനു ശേഷമോ റെസിഡൻസ് വിസയിലേക്ക് മാറുമ്പോൾ:

✅ നടപടിക്രമം

1. വിസ അപേക്ഷ സമയത്ത്:

   • രാജ്യത്തിനുള്ളിൽ വിസ ലഭിക്കാനായി AED 1090  അടയ്‌ക്കണം (ടൈപ്പിംഗ് സെന്റർ വഴി).

2. വിസ ലഭിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം:

   • സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ചേഞ്ച് ഫീസായി AED 635 അടയ്‌ക്കണം.

   • ആവശ്യമായ രേഖകൾ:

     • വിസ ഹോൾഡറുടെ പാസ്‌പോർട്ട് കോപ്പി

     • പുതിയ വിസയുടെ കോപ്പി

     • സ്‌പോൺസറുടെ പാസ്പോർട്ട്, വിസ & എമിറേറ്റ്സ് ഐഡി കോപ്പി

3. വിസിറ്റ് വിസ/ഗ്രേസ് പീരിയഡ് തീരുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് നടപടിക്രമം പൂർത്തിയാക്കണം.

⚠️ പിഴ (Fine)

🔹 What is Status Change?

A Status Change (also called Visa Position Amendment) is required when a person inside the UAE — on a Visit Visa, Tourist Visa, or Cancelled Residence Visa — receives a new Employment or Residence Visa without exiting the country.

This process updates the applicant’s immigration file from the previous sponsor or visa type to the new sponsor or visa type.

💼 1. Status Change to Employment Visa

If the Employment Visa applicant is inside the UAE on:

• a Visit/Tourist Visa, or

• a cancelled residence visa (within the grace period)

then they must complete a status change before medical and Emirates ID procedures.

✅ Step-by-Step Process

1. At the time of applying the new Employment Visa:

   • Pay AED 680 extra to issue the visa inside the country (can be paid at AMER Centre or online via https://amer.gdrfad.gov.ae).

2. After Visa Issuance:

   • Pay AED 720 for Status Change application.

   • Application is available at AMER Centre.

   • Submit:

     • Original Passport

     • New Visa copy

     • Current Visit/Tourist Visa copy

3. Important Deadline:

   • Must be done before expiry of visit/tourist visa or grace period of cancelled visa.

   • Only after status change, the file transfers to the new sponsor.

⚠️ Fines

• AED 50 per day if delayed.

• Fine is payable at the time of status change.
